Saskatchewan Immigrant Nominee Program – Entrepreneur (SINP-E)
The SINP-E offers experienced entrepreneurs the opportunity to establish or acquire a business in Saskatchewan while pursuing permanent residency in Canada. The program follows a structured multi-stage process from initial application to provincial nomination.
Application Process
- Expression of Interest (EOI) Submission
- Applicants submit an EOI to the SINP-E
- EOIs are evaluated using a comprehensive points system assessing:
- Business experience and qualifications
- Language proficiency
- Economic benefit to Saskatchewan
- Other relevant entrepreneurial factors
- Invitation to Apply
- Top-ranking candidates receive nomination invitations
- Approved applicants obtain authorization for a temporary work permit
- Work permit applications must be submitted within three months
- Business Establishment Phase
- Two-year period to:
- Execute a Business Performance Agreement (BPA)
- Implement approved Business Establishment Plan (BEP)
- Comply with all regulatory requirements
- Two-year period to:
- Permanent Residency Nomination
- Upon fulfilling BPA obligations
- Submit nomination application to SINP
- Apply for permanent residency through IRCC
Eligibility Requirements
Applicants must demonstrate:
- Substantial verifiable net worth
- Minimum three years of relevant business experience
- Commitment to make a qualifying investment
- Business plan showing clear economic benefit to Saskatchewan
